EdgeMode, a U.S.-based data center developer, has teamed up with AI infrastructure company Vertical Data to launch a new artificial intelligence (AI) data center in Marviken, Sweden.
The facility, which specializes in high-performance computing (HPC), is built for scalable expansion and could grow to over 300 megawatts by 2030.
EdgeMode's proprietary Green Computing™ solutions, branded as EDGE, utilize low-cost, renewable energy. The technology achieves a PUE (power usage effectiveness) of less than 1.02 and reclaims over 95% of the energy it uses for reuse.
EdgeMode specializes in Tier 3, AI data center infrastructure and colocation services, emphasizing performance, security, and cost efficiency. The company provides custom HPC solutions to organizations of all sizes, supporting engineering and innovation.
EdgeMode's technology leverages low-cost and renewable energy resources. Its proprietary Green Computing™ solutions, branded EDGE, achieve a PUE of <1.02 and recapture over 95% of deployed energy for reuse. These solutions are designed to make computing power accessible near end-users.
EDGE solutions are modular, ranging from 10.92 MW building blocks for hyperscale computing centers to 3.27 MW modular blocks for regional edge centers, and 182 KW edge computing centers. EdgeMode also offers an EDGE Habitat to facilitate the successful deployment and operation of its solutions.
