The Elsham Tech Park, a proposed 1.5 million square meter (16.1 million sq ft) campus, plans to be built south and east of the Elsham Wolds Industrial Estate, next to the A15 road near Scunthorpe. If approved, this would make it one of the UK's largest tech parks. It's set to house 15 data halls with a massive 1GW power draw.

While an on-site energy center will generate 49.9MW of power, the application doesn't specify its source. The project is projected to cost between £5.5 billion and £9 billion ($7.4-$12.1bn) over a ten-year construction period, creating 2,600 to 3,600 construction jobs.
