Huawei's largest global data center began operations on December 2020 in Guian New Area, Guizhou province, China, marking the completion of a five-year construction project. The facility is designed to eventually host one million servers.

Phase one encompasses 480,000 square meters (5 million square feet) across three distinct zones. The completed first phase includes 51 buildings, with nine dedicated data center facilities and 42 supporting structures.

The project, which broke ground in August 2017, achieves a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.12 through its natural cooling systems and integration with the local district heating infrastructure.
