Telis Energie: Lower Saxony Campus

Site planned for 2029 and has expansions through 2036

Telis Energie Deutschland has proposed the development of a large-scale data center campus on 380,000 square meters of former farmland in Mehrum, Lower Saxony. The project, which represents an estimated investment of €1 billion, would consist of multiple 25-meter-high buildings. Currently in the initial planning stages, construction is scheduled to begin in 2028 and is expected to take approximately two years, pending final municipal approval.

The campus is designed to host multiple tenants, with power delivered via high-voltage lines from a nearby gas-fired power station and at least one dedicated new substation. Located near Hanover, the facility is anticipated to create approximately 80 permanent positions for technical and security staff.
