Internet Thailand (INET)
INET was established jointly by the Communications Authority of Thailand (CAT), TOT Corporation Public Company Limited and the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA) and has continuously expanded its operations ever since.
- March 1995 Internet Thailand Service Center (ITSC) was established to offer the first commercial Internet connection to the general public.
- October 1997, the center was changed to a state enterprise under the name Internet Thailand Co Ltd.
- November 2001, INET shook off state enterprise status by listing the company on the Stock Exchange of Thailand and selling shares to the public via electronic IPO
